For this model building project I had to recreate the First Harrison Gray Otis House, of the American Federal period. This house is located in Boston, Massachusetts, and is now a historic house museum.

First, I did research on the building; the history, how it was built, what materials is it built out of,  etc.

I needed to find detailed floor plans and measurements, elevations, wall thickness, and ceiling heights, in order to accurately build this model. The model was built at a 1/8 scale.

The 3 floors of the home and the roof are stackable, to allow for looking inside the building.
