The Agricultural Annex Building at West Virginia University is currently the learning space for students studying interior design, landscape architecture, design studies, woodworking, and welding. We were challenged to redesign this building, since as an educational space it currently lacks inspiration, comfort, purpose, cleanliness, resources, and most importantly, a sense of community.

Agricultural Sciences, main building - Davis College
In remodeling the building, it was also important to carry the aesthetic of the main building of our college, the Agricultural Sciences - Davis College building, into our design solution.

"Repurpose"
Design Concept
This was a group project. We wanted to make sure to work with the existing space, not tearing down too many walls, and not making any drastic changes. We re-formatted the space to be entirely connected and have a better flow.
We also approached the concept in terms of materiality. Some items we can repurpose are the lockers, cabinetry, and left over construction materials.
